Mechanical drawing check, one drawing at a time
Drop your drawing on chti-tech.eu: an AI agent checks it against 489 ISO drawing rules and returns its report in about a minute. €0.50 per check, no subscription.
How it works
1. Your account and your balance
Create your account, then top up your balance with €20, €50 or €100 by card. Each top-up is invoiced. The automatic top-up is optional.
2. Your drawing
PDF, PNG or JPEG: part, assembly or exploded view with its parts list. The drawing is shown before sending, to check it is the right one.
3. The report
The deviations and the missing indications, classed blocking, major and minor, each with its rule and standard. An email tells you when it is ready.
What the agent finds
- The title block: material, scale, checker, general tolerances, mandatory fields.
- Dimensioning: dimension chains that do not add up, dimensions without tolerance, missing dimensions.
- Parts list and item references: forgotten balloon, part missing from the parts list, quantities that do not match the drawing.
- Presentation: sheet sizes, lines, centre lines, lettering height, frame and marks.
Mechanical drawings only: electrical diagrams and building plans are not covered. The report helps the review, it does not replace the checker.
Why this service
Design draughtsman, technical writer, quality and methods lead: I spent some fifteen years in industry, on assignment at Alstom and Siemens, then at DDIS, PDC Europe and Volevatch, before developing for Odoo.
I keep one conviction from it: a drawing is poorly reviewed by the person who drew it. The missing dimension, the forgotten material, the parts list that miscounts the screws are too often found in the workshop or at the supplier. This check comes from there. Sylvain Boutet, CHTI-TECH.

Your drawings
Your drawing remains your property. It is read, then deleted from our servers as soon as the check is over: it enters neither our database nor our backups, and only the report is kept. To be read, it goes through Anthropic's Claude model, which does not use it to train its models.
The check in your Odoo
For a design office that checks its drawings every day, the check also installs in your Odoo, by subscription, with the annotated drawing placed on the product document.
