Odoo is split into apps: you start with what is urgent, sales or accounting for instance, and add inventory, manufacturing or the website when the company is ready. The same tool follows the growth, from a small business to a mid-sized company.
Community or Enterprise
- Odoo Community is open source and free: you install it on your own server, and add modules to it.
- Odoo Enterprise adds apps and features (full accounting, Studio, electronic signature...) and Odoo support, with a per-user subscription.
- The choice depends on your apps and your hosting: it is made during scoping, before any configuration.
